Our new arrivals, again by popular demand, are American style gourmet Banana Bread and Apple Cinnamon Bread . Although usually served in thick slices and toasted, this is really more of a cake than a bread. Moist and choc full of fruit and spices, with a long refrigeration life - 10 days plus. They can be successfully frozen and thawed and micro-waved too.
Our large cake range is a bit of a mixture. We have three slab cakes in food service foils - a yummy Carrot Cake (a minimal flour recipe, rich in pineapple, carrots and walnuts), a lovely Banana Cake and, for the chocoholics, a heavy chocolate sponge (almost a mud) Chocolate Ganache Cake, topped with a true chocolate ganache - heavenly!. We also have arguably the best Pecan Pie in town - at least, that's what North American visitors tell us, made with real maple syrup and whole pecans, not walnuts. |
